Students of Nkuru Vocational College joined with members of the Namutamba Rehabilitation Centre for Children in running to remember earlier this year.
The run, which went between the college and the rehab centre, was in honour of Betty Nakafunvu, head of NRCC and who recently died. For the college students it was also a chance to honour another wonderful lady, Dorothy Hall, mother to the Rev. Tim Hall, who has been deeply involved in the development of all aspects of NNF over the years. She passed on recently and may her soul rest in eternal peace.
Everyone who took part in the run commented on what a wonderful time they had as they enjoyed the opportunity to get to know each other more, and do something to honour others.
Could this become an annual event?
