The following photos show for themselves just how happy the youngsters from Acholi Quarters have been to finally be able to return to school after almost 2 years of school closures in Uganda due to Covid.
Whilst some schools provided online lessons, and some parents were able to afford private tutors, for the Acholi children that we support, and so many others from similarly deprived backgrounds, access to education has not been remotely affordable.
So, now that the schools are finally open for face to face learning, as well as a safe place to play with friends, and a chance to have school lunch again, life is definitely feeling on the up again!
